Job description: Junior Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager Freelancer

Hi5 Digital is seeking a young, creative and dynamic Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager to join our team, as a freelance service provider, to look after 9 of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging short-form marketing posts, copy writing, graphic designs, animations, and product feature posts, with videos, for platforms like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Additionally, the candidate will monitor social media interactions, respond to queries, and help build our online community, as well as create monthly reports at the end of the month. We would need you to have online meetings with some of the clients to help understand what products and posts to focus on for the next month.

Ideally we would like someone from Durbanville or surrounding areas, as this position is based in Durbanville, but ‘Working from home’ will be permitted.

Requirements

• Design knowledge on Canva / Photoshop
• Copy writing for posts
• Live in the Northern Suburbs, close to Durbanville.
• Car + License
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and campaign management platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop creative briefs and review creatives for all social and digital channels
• Plan, create, execute, and optimize organic posts for the month ahead, share with clients and get their approval or changes.
• Monitor and analyse post performance
• Drive engagement and social community growth on community groups, by posting to those community groups.
• Build brand engagement on social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,)
• Research and identify new innovative Ideas to apply to our client’s posts
• Stay current with all technical and content advances in Facebook and other online marketing channels
• Drive new partnership growth opportunities with current and potential new digital partners across all our markets
• Monthly Reporting
• Online Client Meetings + Keeping the client relationship happy & healthy
